Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping strategic financial decisions and optimizing the company's financial performance.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust planning, budgeting, and forecasting frameworks. Your expertise will be crucial in analyzing and interpreting financial trends, providing actionable recommendations to senior management, and ensuring the maximization of returns on financial assets through sound policies and controls.

This position also plays a key role in overseeing year-end closing procedures, ensuring the timely issuance of audited financial statements, and meticulously reviewing all accrued expenses on a monthly basis to maintain financial integrity and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including financial modeling, variance analysis, and forecasting, to support strategic decision-making.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on analysis of financial data, market trends, and industry benchmarks.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and tools to assess business performance, evaluate investment opportunities, and forecast financial outcomes.
  • Conduct financial reviews and audits to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, operations, sales) to gather data, assess performance, and develop actionable insights.
  • Present financial analysis findings and recommendations to senior management, board members, and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing financial expertise, analyzing trends, and identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and communications for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior financial analysts, sharing knowledge and best practices.
  • Stay current on industry trends, financial regulations, and best practices in financial analysis to continually improve analytical methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • Professional degree in Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of working experience, with at least 5 years in a relevant financial analysis role.
  • 2 years of experience in the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) region is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial analysis techniques, including financial modeling, ratio analysis, and valuation methods.
  • Strong quantitative skills for interpreting complex financial data and performing scenario analysis.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel, financial modeling software, and data visualization tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills.
