Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS).
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support client decision-making.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records and reports.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist in the preparation of management reports and board packs.
  • Support audit processes by preparing required schedules and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to improve financial reporting processes.
  • Monitor financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, preferably within a consulting firm or professional services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar tools).
  • Professional certification (ICAN/ACCA or in progress) is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
