Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Detailer to join our esteemed team. In this vital role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that all repaired vehicles are meticulously cleaned, polished, inspected, and prepared to the highest quality standards before being returned to our valued customers. The ideal candidate possesses a strong sense of pride in their work, an exceptional eye for detail, and an unwavering commitment to delivering a flawless finished product.
Your responsibilities will encompass performing expert polishing, buffing, and finishing work on repaired vehicles to achieve a pristine appearance. You will detail both the interior and exterior of vehicles to perfection prior to customer delivery. A key aspect of this role involves inspecting completed vehicles for any imperfections and performing or coordinating necessary touch-ups or corrections. You will also be responsible for completing vehicle scans before production commences and again prior to final delivery, accurately documenting all work performed, materials utilized, and the vehicle's condition during pre-wash and final wash inspections.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area is paramount. You will be expected to clean, maintain, and properly store all detailing equipment, tools, and supplies. Adherence to company safety procedures and quality standards is mandatory. Furthermore, you will collaborate effectively with technicians, painters, estimators, and production staff to ensure vehicles are completed on schedule and meet all customer expectations.

Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional automotive detailing experience, preferably within a collision repair or automotive dealership environment.
- Experience with vehicle polishing, buffing, waxing, and paint finishing techniques.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify imperfections in vehicle appearance.
- Ability to perform physical work, including standing, bending, lifting, and moving vehicles as required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to safely operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is considered an asset.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
