Job Description

Join our Localization Quality Assurance team and play a pivotal role in ensuring games are perfectly tailored for Dutch-speaking players.

Your responsibilities will include meticulously identifying and correcting translation errors, spelling mistakes, and ambiguities. You will also be tasked with evaluating the game’s tone, style, audio, text, and cultural appropriateness to ensure a seamless player experience.

Furthermore, you will create detailed reports using tools like Excel and Jira, and contribute valuable suggestions for improving game quality based on your findings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Finding and correcting any translation errors, spelling mistakes and ambiguities.
  • Checking the game’s tone and style, audio, text, and cultural correctness.
  • Creating reports in Excel and Jira.
  • Submitting quality improving suggestions for the errors you find.

Qualifications

  • Dutch C2 level or native.
  • English C1 level to ensure internal communication and reporting.
  • Perfect knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation of your language.
  • Good MS Office skills, especially Excel.
  • Great communication skills allowing to express yourself precise and clearly.
  • Ability to work in a team and under pressure of time.
  • Passion for gaming and curiosity for new titles (all types of games count!).
  • Experience in game testing, translation, or linguistic game testing.
  • Familiarity of platforms like Sony (PS4/PS5), Microsoft (PC, Xbox One/XSX/XSS), Nintendo (Switch), Apple (iOS).
