Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Security Testing Specialist to join our dedicated cybersecurity team. This role is crucial for identifying vulnerabilities through authorized security assessments, simulating real-world cyber attacks, and delivering actionable recommendations to enhance our security posture.
Your responsibilities will include conducting a wide array of penetration tests, encompassing infrastructure, network, mobile applications, Wi-Fi, and web applications. You will actively participate in attack and breach simulations, assessing and exploiting vulnerabilities, and executing social engineering and phishing campaigns.
The role also involves reviewing custom code for vulnerabilities and SecDevOps principles, often in collaboration with senior testers. You will develop innovative technical solutions and new security tools to exploit security vulnerabilities and automate repetitive tasks, providing valuable offensive security consulting to our clients through various engagement styles.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for writing comprehensive reports detailing assessment findings, outcomes, and propositions for system security enhancement. Internal or external digital forensics investigations, data retrieval from devices, and analysis of network intrusion artifacts will also be part of your duties. You will reconstruct event series leading to compromises, collect and preserve digital evidence, and ensure chain of custody.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a range of penetration tests, including infrastructure, network, mobile application, WIFI, and web application.
- Participate in attack and breach simulations, including assessing and exploiting vulnerabilities, social engineering, and conducting phishing campaigns.
- Review and assess custom code for vulnerabilities and SecDevOps principles with assistance from senior testers.
- Develop technical solutions and new security tools to exploit security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks.
- Provide valuable offensive security consulting to our clients through project, program, and embedded style engagements.
- Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes, and propositions for further system security enhancement.
- Conduct internal or external digital forensics investigations.
- Retrieve data from virtual and physical devices.
- Collect and analyze network intrusion artifacts and evidence of malicious network activity.
- Reconstruct the series of events leading to a compromise or breach.
- Collect, process, analyze, and preserve digital evidence in criminal cases.
- Extract and analyze metadata.
- Ensure chain of custody of digital evidence.
- Write technical reports to document case findings.
- Identify potential threats and provide recommendations for better security.
- Support and mentor junior consultants assisting the Delivery Manager with quality assurance and client engagements.
Qualifications
- 4–7 years of experience in penetration testing, vulnerability assessment or red teaming
- Advanced understanding of network architectures, subnets, and protocols.
- Proficiency in Windows, Linux and Active Directory.
- Cloud security knowledge and familiarity with common cloud providers
- Expertise in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- In-depth familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools and techniques.
- Mastery of common penetration testing tools (e.g., Nmap, Burp Suite, Metasploit).
