Job Description

TEHORA is actively seeking a Senior Technology Infrastructure Analyst with specialized expertise in storage and backup solutions. This role is crucial for managing and evolving data storage and backup systems for a key client in the public sector.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in the architecture, maintenance, support, and advancement of both hardware and software infrastructure for data storage and backup. This includes ensuring the operational integrity and performance of SAN and NAS storage, as well as corporate backup solutions.

Key responsibilities involve providing expert consultation, offering recommendations, and identifying challenges within the IT landscape. The role also requires contributing to project analyses, design work, and the migration of workloads to cloud platforms. Maintaining comprehensive operational documentation and effectively managing incidents with vendors are also vital aspects of this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and evolve all components of the magnetic space infrastructure (SAN and NAS data storage).
  • Maintain and operate the corporate copy solution.
  • Provide consulting services, issue recommendations, and identify sector-specific challenges related to data storage (SAN and NAS) and backup solutions.
  • Make recommendations and highlight issues during analysis and design work for cloud platform migration projects.
  • Create and maintain operational documentation for enhancements under your responsibility.
  • Inform the project manager of any incidents or problems related to storage and backup infrastructure, escalate them to maintenance vendors, and ensure follow-up.
  • Ensure the availability, stability, and performance of the infrastructure under your responsibility using available management and monitoring tools.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer to client-designated personnel.
  • Perform all other tasks relevant to a technology infrastructure analyst.

Qualifications

  • Hold a relevant university degree in computer science, computer engineering, telecommunications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Accumulate ten (10) years of experience in the information technology field, including eight years as a technology infrastructure analyst.
  • Include five (5) years in mandates where you held a senior advisory role and made a direct contribution to the operation, architecture, maintenance, and support of storage infrastructure (SAN, NAS) or security copy solutions.
  • Have completed two mandates of at least 50 person-days related to storage (NAS or SAN) or a copy solution.
  • Have completed a mandate focused on operating a cloud-based data storage solution with characteristics equivalent to Microsoft Azure.
  • Possess a good understanding of modern architectures, hybrid environments, and technological integration challenges.
  • Ability to clearly document assumptions, constraints, risks, and architectural decisions.
  • Synthesizing skills, methodological rigor, and client orientation.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in French.
