Job Description

Spirit Omega Inc. is seeking a motivated Equipment Sales Representative to join their team in Whitecourt, Alberta.

This full-time, permanent role is crucial for driving sales and expanding market share within the construction and equipment rental industry. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and achieving sales targets.

The position offers a competitive base salary of $40,000 annually, plus commission, with a three-month commission guarantee to support you during the initial phase of the role. A company-provided vehicle, gas card, laptop, and cell phone are included.

Key Responsibilities

  • Increase sales and overall branch revenue
  • Prospect and establish new rental and sales accounts through cold calling and in-person visits
  • Develop creative and effective sales strategies and evaluate their performance
  • Identify customer needs and build productive, long-lasting relationships
  • Meet or exceed personal and team sales targets
  • Research accounts and generate or follow up on sales leads
  • Attend internal meetings, sales events, and training sessions
  • Maintain and expand a customer database within the assigned territory

Qualifications

  • Previous outside sales experience within the construction industry
  • Strong computer proficiency
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
  • Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, business administration, or a related field is considered an asset
  • 3–5 years of proven outside sales experience
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license
  • Ability to provide a recent driver’s abstract
