Job Description

TGP International is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Catering & Events to spearhead their business unit.

This pivotal role involves driving significant business development and revenue growth across all catering and events segments. You will leverage your extensive network within the UAE to identify and secure new opportunities, cultivate long-term client relationships, and ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality operations.

Key responsibilities include overseeing the full P&L performance, managing cost control, and optimizing margins. You will lead and manage performance across diverse verticals such as gala dinners, corporate events, premium catering, office catering, festival bars, concessions, and small restaurant operations.

The ideal candidate possesses a minimum of 10 years of experience in the UAE catering and events market, with a proven track record in business development and a strong existing network of corporate clients and event agencies. Excellent client management, negotiation, and leadership skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive business development and revenue growth across all catering and events segments
  • Leverage existing client network and industry relationships to secure new business
  • Own and deliver against revenue targets and pipeline conversion
  • Oversee full P&L performance, including cost control and margin optimisation
  • Lead and manage performance across all business verticals: Catering, Events, and Small restaurant operations

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in the UAE catering/events market
  • Proven track record in business development and revenue generation
  • Strong existing network (“black book”) of corporate clients, event agencies, and key stakeholders
  • Experience managing multi-vertical F&B or catering operations
  • Strong commercial acumen with P&L ownership experience
  • Excellent client management, negotiation, and leadership skills
