Job Description
Fincra is seeking a highly organized and results-oriented Commercial Operations Lead to join their Commercial team in Ikoyi, Lagos. This hybrid role is central to building and managing the operational framework that supports the company's commercial success.
You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining robust pipeline governance and CRM discipline, ensuring accurate deal logging and consistent pipeline coverage. This includes monitoring stalled deals and proactively surfacing risks to maintain trusted pipeline visibility.
A key aspect of this role involves managing forecasting processes and revenue predictability. You will run structured weekly forecast reviews, stress-test high-probability deals, and track commit, upside, and risk categories to improve forecast accuracy and minimize surprises. Furthermore, you will maintain weekly commercial dashboards, track leading indicators, monitor pricing discipline, and deliver insightful performance reports to leadership.
The Commercial Operations Lead will also oversee partnership operations, maintain a centralized tracker, and ensure alignment between commercial promises and operational capabilities. You will drive commercial PMO and execution discipline by running syncs, tracking action items, and refining workflows. Additionally, you will provide executive leverage by optimizing the EVP's calendar, preparing meeting briefs, and managing communications.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Own CRM structure and hygiene, enforcing deal logging and stage accuracy.
- Monitor pipeline coverage (minimum 3x rolling target) and track stalled deals.
- Run structured weekly forecast reviews and stress-test high-probability deals.
- Track commit, upside, and risk categories to improve forecast accuracy.
- Maintain weekly commercial dashboards and track leading indicators.
- Monitor pricing discipline and discounting behavior, identifying performance gaps.
- Maintain centralized partnership tracker and track integration timelines.
- Align commercial promises with operational capability and monitor contract-to-activation timelines.
- Run weekly commercial execution syncs and enforce action item closure.
- Improve handoffs between Sales, AM, and Engineering, and document commercial workflows.
- Optimize EVP calendar toward high-impact commercial work and prepare structured briefs.
- Capture and track executive commitments and manage the EVP Commercial inbox.
- Draft structured commercial updates and internal memos, and escalate material risks.
Qualifications
- Strong Commercial Ops or Revenue Ops experience.
- Deep CRM expertise (HubSpot preferred).
- Strong Excel / Sheets modeling skills.
- Experience running forecast reviews.
- Comfortable challenging senior stakeholders respectfully.
- Able to explain pipeline math clearly.
- 5+ years in Commercial Ops, Sales Ops, or Revenue Ops.
- Fintech, SaaS, or financial services experience preferred.
- Cross-border payments or FX exposure is a plus.
