Job Description

Maple Reinders is seeking a seasoned Concrete Foreman to lead field crews and direct day-to-day concrete operations for significant projects in Bradford, Wasaga Beach, and surrounding areas.

In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of all concrete work. Your leadership will be instrumental in meeting project schedules, achieving productivity targets, and upholding the highest safety standards. This is a hands-on position where you will lead by example, taking accountability for both your performance and that of your crew.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead concrete crews in daily field operations
  • Plan and coordinate formwork, concrete placement, and work sequencing
  • Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and shop drawings
  • Ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and to quality standards
  • Enforce company safety policies and participate in daily safety meetings
  • Monitor productivity, labour usage, and workmanship
  • Coordinate with Superintendents, Project Managers, and other trades
  • Complete accurate timesheets and ensure proper cost coding
  • Oversee proper use of tools, equipment, and materials

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of concrete construction experience
  • Previous Lead Hand or Foreman experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of concrete forming, placement, and finishing
  • Ability to perform layout, verify elevations, and maintain tolerances
  • Heavy civil or infrastructure experience is an asset
