Job Description
Maple Reinders is seeking a skilled Concrete Lead Hand to join their project teams. In this vital role, you will work closely with Foremen and Superintendents to ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of concrete construction work.
This is a hands-on position that involves not only direct concrete work but also the coordination of crews, daily task direction, and layout support to meet ambitious productivity and schedule targets.
You will play a key part in maintaining workflow, supporting crew performance, and ensuring all work adheres to project drawings, specifications, and company standards.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate daily activities of assigned concrete crews
- Communicate daily work plans, priorities, and production targets
- Support formwork, concrete placement, stripping, and resetting of forms
- Assist with layout, elevations, and verification of dimensions and tolerances
- Inspect formwork and embedded items prior to concrete placement
- Identify and correct deficiencies before pours
- Lead by example in health and safety practices
- Participate in hazard assessments and toolbox talks
- Coordinate with Foremen, Superintendents, and other trades
- Monitor productivity and assist with maintaining workflow and site logistics
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of concrete construction experience
- Strong hands-on experience with formwork, placing, and finishing
- Knowledge of wall and slab formwork systems (Meva or similar)
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Experience leading small crews or acting in a senior field role
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and productivity
