Job Description

Join the strategic industrial hub of the "Vallée de la Chimie" as an External Operator at the Feyzin platform. This critical site plays a vital role in regional energy supply, processing millions of tons of crude oil annually into essential fuels and petrochemicals.

In this role, you will be responsible for systematically monitoring the functionality and condition of equipment and installations, promptly reporting any anomalies. You will ensure the regular surveillance of facilities, initiating necessary interventions to maintain optimal operational and safety standards. Your duties will include performing external maneuvers on your assigned sector, operating pumps, and executing required equipment operations for interventions, including necessary safety lockouts.

You will also be tasked with collecting samples, conducting requested checks, performing local adjustments, and executing periodic equipment tests. Maintaining the tidiness of materials and tools within your post unit and ensuring the cleanliness of units and equipment are also key responsibilities. This position offers a direct impact on the reliable production of energy and chemical products, contributing to the economic vitality of the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Systematically control the functioning and condition of equipment and installations, reporting any anomalies.
  • Ensure regular surveillance of installations and issue necessary intervention requests for their maintenance and safety.
  • Perform external maneuvers on the assigned sector.
  • Operate pumps and ensure their proper functioning.
  • Execute required operations on equipment for intervention, including necessary safety lockouts, in coordination with the work manager.
  • Take samples and perform all requested checks.
  • Perform local readings, chemical top-ups, and local adjustments.
  • Conduct periodic equipment tests.
  • Ensure the tidiness of unused materials and tools on the unit.
  • Follow up on scheduled visits.
  • Clean units and equipment, excluding tasks requiring external company intervention.
  • Fulfill missions described in QHSEI systems relevant to the function.
  • Perform any other tasks corresponding to the qualification.
