Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our dynamic packaging operations. This role is crucial for optimizing inspection and coding processes, ensuring the smooth functioning of high-speed packaging lines.

You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of essential equipment. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining plant availability and ensuring the highest product quality standards.

This position requires a commitment to a safe and healthy working environment, adhering to all relevant procedures and legislation. You will also play a key role in applying VPO (Voluntary Production Optimization) principles to enhance our operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performs inspection and coding optimization and approved modifications of process control & electrical systems.
  • Supports the installations of process control & relevant electrical systems.
  • Maintains, calibrates, and repairs equipment, optimizing plant and associated devices to ensure plant availability and product quality.
  • Maintains a safe and healthy working environment by complying with safe, health, and environment procedures and legislation, and maintaining safety and housekeeping standards.
  • Works effectively in teams.
  • Applies VPO principles and practices.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or an advanced certificate.
  • Computer Literate.
  • 3-4 years of experience as a technician on high-speed packaging lines.
  • 3-6 months of on-the-job training.
