Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Supply Chain Planner to join our dynamic team on a maternity cover contract. This role is integral to ensuring the consistent availability of raw materials, directly supporting our production schedules and operational efficiency.

You will be responsible for meticulously planning and monitoring raw material requirements, maintaining optimal stock levels to meet production demands. A key aspect of this position involves collaborating closely with suppliers and internal departments to ensure cost-effective purchasing and minimize material write-offs.

Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in the accurate creation and maintenance of master data within SAP R/3 and SAP APO systems. This includes performing essential data checks, generating reports, and conducting analyses to guarantee data integrity and system readiness.

This role requires strong collaboration with various teams, including Supply Planning, Procurement, Demand Planning, Master Data, Commercial, Marketing, and Finance, to facilitate seamless information flow and alignment across the organization. You will also contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives and planning optimization projects, supporting our Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) activities.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and monitor raw material requirements, ensuring availability and appropriate stock levels to support production needs.
Coordinate raw material purchasing activities and supplier communication, aiming for cost optimization and minimal write-offs.
Support timely and accurate master data creation, maintenance and updates in SAP R/3 and SAP APO.
Perform data checks, reporting and analysis to ensure data accuracy, system readiness and on-time request delivery.
Collaborate with Supply Planning, Procurement, Demand Planning, Master Data, Commercial, Marketing and Finance teams to ensure smooth information flow and alignment.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives, planning optimization projects and effective support of S&OP activities.

Qualifications

University degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
Previous experience in Supply Chain, Planning, Raw Materials Planning, Master Data or a similar role will be considered an advantage.
Good knowledge of MS Excel will be considered an asset.
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
Ability to manage priorities, processes and deadlines effectively.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
