Job Description

Norrenberger is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Human Resources to lead our People Operations function.

This pivotal role will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive HR strategies that support our business objectives, foster a positive work environment, and attract and retain top talent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Oversee all HR functions, including talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive company culture.
  • Lead and mentor the HR team.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Manage employee engagement and retention initiatives.
  • Oversee HR budget and resource allocation.
  • Drive initiatives for organizational development and change management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in HR management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage change and drive employee engagement.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and other HR technologies.
