Job Description

Weekday AI is seeking a highly experienced Group Project Manager specializing in Presales for Internet of Things (IoT) solutions. This critical role involves leading strategic presales engagements and solution consulting initiatives for enterprise clients, driving digital transformation through innovative technology discussions.

You will collaborate closely with sales, engineering, and delivery teams to understand client challenges, architect compelling IoT-enabled solutions, and develop robust value propositions. This position requires a strong blend of technical acumen, business insight, and exceptional stakeholder management skills to guide clients from initial discovery through to solution presentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end presales activities for IoT and digital transformation opportunities.
  • Engage with enterprise clients to understand business objectives, operational challenges, and technology requirements.
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, and delivery teams to design comprehensive solution proposals and implementation strategies.
  • Develop project plans, solution architectures, resource estimates, timelines, and cost models for client engagements.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, demonstrations, proposals, and technical workshops.
  • Support RFP, RFQ, and proposal responses by creating high-quality technical and commercial documentation.
  • Drive solution discussions involving connected devices, smart systems, cloud platforms, analytics, and AI-driven applications.
  • Evaluate project risks, dependencies, and implementation challenges during the presales stage.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure solution feasibility, scalability, and alignment with customer expectations.
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders, decision-makers, and executive leadership teams.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends in IoT, Artificial Intelligence, automation, and digital innovation.
  • Support business growth initiatives by identifying new opportunities within existing and prospective client accounts.
  • Contribute to presales best practices, solution frameworks, and reusable assets that improve proposal efficiency.
  • Mentor team members and support knowledge sharing across project management and solutioning functions.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in project management, presales, consulting, or solution delivery roles.
  • Strong experience managing enterprise technology discussions and customer-facing engagements.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to bridge business requirements with technical solutions and implementation strategies.
  • Experience creating proposals, business cases, effort estimations, and project plans.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Understanding of IoT ecosystems, connected devices, cloud-based platforms, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Exposure to Artificial Intelligence, analytics, automation, or smart technology solutions is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering business value.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while managing complex client requirements and strategic initiatives.
