Job Description
Fincra is seeking a dynamic Senior Marketing Specialist to join our Growth/Marketing team. This role is pivotal in executing high-impact content, PR, and events that significantly enhance Fincra’s category positioning. You will be instrumental in making trust visible through compelling proof content assets and ensuring the market fully understands Fincra as the premier cross-border infrastructure solution for Africa.
Your daily activities will involve producing and editing high-quality content for diverse audiences, developing customer success stories and case studies, and managing PR initiatives including drafting press materials and thought leadership assets. You will also support key leaders with content creation and oversee the strategy, governance, and execution of all events and sponsorships, managing budgets and logistics from inception to completion.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Write, edit, coordinate, and publish high-quality content for internal and external audiences.
- Produce customer references, case studies, and proof-led stories in collaboration with sales and account management.
- Draft press materials, thought leadership assets, and comms briefs, managing the PR distribution budget.
- Support selected leaders with content drafting, editing, and asset preparation.
- Own the strategy, governance, and outcome discipline for events, sponsorships, and hosted experiences, including logistics and content workflows.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in corporate communications, marketing, or related roles within fintech, financial services, or technology.
- Proven experience in B2B content marketing, PR coordination, and event execution.
- Experience with AI-driven content marketing and structuring content for AI-first search discovery.
- Strong proficiency with marketing tools like HubSpot and Brevo, content editing software, and basic design tools.
- Familiarity with marketing analytics (Google Analytics, HubSpot analytics) and stakeholder engagement tools.
- Familiarity with PR wires and managing relationships with media journalists.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with busy leadership stakeholders.
- Composure under pressure, especially during events and fast-turnaround communications.
- Commitment to continuous learning in communications and marketing.
- Responsible use of AI-driven communication tools, adhering to ethical standards and data privacy.
