Credit Direct Finance Company Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven Business Intelligence & Insights Associate to join our Digital Transformation team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing accurate, automated, and insight-driven reports that empower data-informed decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate closely with the Lead, Business Analytics to design and maintain BI dashboards, perform complex SQL-based analyses, and ensure the integrity of enterprise and regulatory data.

Your responsibilities will include designing and developing interactive Power BI dashboards, building efficient data models with DAX measures, and ensuring data accuracy and compliance. You will also write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation, conduct quantitative analysis, and support ad-hoc requests. A key aspect of this role involves contributing to automation efforts, identifying process improvements, and maintaining clear documentation. You will work cross-functionally with various departments to translate business needs into effective analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
  • Build efficient and scalable data models, applying best practices.
  • Develop and maintain DAX measures for KPIs, trends, and performance monitoring.
  • Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Conduct quantitative analysis, including trend, variance, and time-series analysis.
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of reported data.
  • Validate data for auditability and third-party verification.
  • Support automated and scheduled reporting workflows.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize BI processes and SQL queries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into analytics solutions.
  • Communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (DAX, data modeling, dashboard design).
  • Strong SQL skills for querying, transforming, and analyzing data.
  • Experience working with large, multi-source datasets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive and professional attitude.
  • Experience in banking, fintech, lending, or regulated data environments is an advantage.
  • Certifications in Power BI or other BI tools are an added advantage.
