Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee and drive critical environmental health and waste management initiatives.

In this role, you will be instrumental in coordinating daily office operations, supervising staff, and ensuring the successful execution of ongoing projects. Your responsibilities will include managing resources, preparing operational reports, and resolving challenges to meet organizational targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating the daily activities of office staff and ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Supervising staff performance and ensuring assigned tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Planning, organizing, and monitoring ongoing environmental health and waste management projects.
  • Managing office resources, records, and administrative processes.
  • Preparing daily and weekly operational reports for management.
  • Monitoring project timelines and ensuring organizational targets are achieved.
  • Resolving operational challenges and implementing practical solutions.
  • Liaising with clients, community leaders, estate managers, and other stakeholders when necessary.
  • Maintaining high standards of professionalism, discipline, and accountability within the office.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of HND or Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Environmental Health or any other health-related discipline.
  • Must have an NGO background
  • Must have a good knowledge of Project Management, Workplan and M&E plan development.
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory abilities.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
  • Must be proactive, disciplined, and result-oriented.
  • Previous experience in project coordination, operations management, administration, environmental health, logistics, or a related field will be an added advantage.
