Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Solutions and PMO Manager to join our esteemed organization.

In this critical role, you will be instrumental in elevating our project management capabilities. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the IT solutions roadmap and portfolio, ensuring alignment with our overarching strategic objectives and business priorities.

Your leadership will extend to overseeing the entire lifecycle of IT projects and initiatives, guaranteeing their successful delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will establish and enforce best practices in project management methodologies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness across all projects.

Furthermore, you will provide strong direction and mentorship to the Project Management Office (PMO) team, fostering a culture of consistent and successful project execution. This includes defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in close collaboration with stakeholders and sponsors, ensuring clear alignment with business goals.

Proactive risk and issue management will be a key aspect of your role, as will coordinating seamlessly with cross-functional teams, vendors, and external partners. You will also be responsible for comprehensive project documentation and facilitating post-implementation reviews to capture valuable lessons learned.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the IT solutions roadmap and portfolio, aligning with the organization's strategic objectives and business priorities.
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects and initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Establish and enforce project management methodologies, processes, and best practices to optimize project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
Provide leadership and direction to the Project Management Office (PMO) team, including project managers, analysts, and coordinators, to ensure consistent and successful project execution.
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and sponsors, ensuring clear alignment with business goals and requirements.
Monitor project progress, risks, and issues, and take proactive measures to mitigate risks and resolve issues to keep projects on track.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure seamless integration and alignment of project activities.
Develop and maintain project documentation, including project charters, plans, schedules, and status reports, to ensure transparency and accountability.
Facilitate project reviews and post-implementation evaluations to capture lessons learned and identify areas for improvement in project management processes.
Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project status, progress, and performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or any related field.
Profound understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex project requirements, risks, and constraints.
Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
Comprehensive knowledge of IT solutions and technologies.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills, is a requirement.
Minimum 8 years of working experience, with 5 years in a relevant supervisory position.
2 years of GCC experience is a plus.
