Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Sagamu, Nigeria.

This pivotal role is designed to support the Plant Team by identifying potential progress actions and developing long-term studies. You will be responsible for the management of new projects, encompassing both studies and the implementation of investments, ensuring they align with strategic objectives.

A key aspect of this position involves assisting the Plant Team in effective problem-solving, contributing to operational efficiency and continuous improvement. You will leverage your expertise to drive projects forward, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

The ideal candidate will possess critical knowledge of cement manufacturing processes, including raw meal preparation, burning, combustion, grinding, and packing operations. A strong commitment to the highest standards of safe work habits and a good knowledge of safety laws and regulations are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Plant Team lines in identifying potential progress actions.
  • Develop long term related studies.
  • Take care of new projects (studies and/or implementation of investments).
  • Assist the Plant Team in problem solving.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in any Engineering discipline (Mechanical/electrical/Civil engineering as main subjects).
  • 5-7 Years’ experience in engineering/or project engineering.
  • Experience with cement plant equipment design, operation or maintenance.
  • Working knowledge of cement manufacturing processes: Raw meal preparation, burning, combustion, grinding and packing operation.
  • Commitment to the highest standards of safe work habits.
  • Good knowledge of safety laws and regulations.
  • Good written and verbal communications skills.
  • Able to take initiative based on sound problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills via work ethics, ability to delegate and motivate, fairness, must be hands-on.
