Job Description

Penta Global Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Control Manager to lead their project control functions in the United Arab Emirates.

This senior role involves establishing and overseeing project control systems, ensuring that all projects are executed within defined scope, schedule, and budget parameters. You will be responsible for managing a team of project control professionals, providing guidance, and ensuring the highest standards of project management are maintained.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex projects, a deep understanding of project finance, and the ability to implement effective strategies for risk mitigation and performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the project controls team, ensuring effective execution of project control functions.
Develop and implement project control policies, procedures, and standards.
Oversee the creation and maintenance of master project schedules and budgets.
Monitor project performance, analyze variances, and provide strategic recommendations.
Manage project risks and develop mitigation plans.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of project status to senior management and stakeholders.
Liaise with clients and other stakeholders on project control matters.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in project controls, with at least 3 years in a management role.
PMP certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
Expertise in Primavera P6 and other project management software.
Proven experience in managing large-scale construction or engineering projects.
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
