Job Description

Photoroom is seeking an experienced Director of Product to spearhead our monetization and growth initiatives. This dynamic role involves leading a team of product growth managers and directly guiding a squad focused on optimizing user activation, enhancing retention, and driving innovative pricing and business model experiments.

You will define and prioritize the product strategy and roadmap for growth and monetization, aiming to maximize paid subscriber revenue. This position requires a strategic thinker who can manage a diverse portfolio of growth initiatives, ensuring rapid experimentation and cross-functional alignment to achieve key business objectives.

The role also involves building growth loops, increasing engagement, and driving top-of-funnel growth through data-driven experimentation. You will provide strategic direction, mentorship, and coaching to your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and impactful product development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the monetization and growth strategic objective, working with multiple squads and growth managers.
  • Define and prioritize the product strategy and roadmap for growth and monetization.
  • Lead pricing optimization and business model experimentation to maximize paid subscriber revenue.
  • Drive a large portfolio of growth and monetization bets, managing experimentation velocity.
  • Coordinate across cross-functional teams to deliver measurable impact on key business metrics.
  • Build growth loops and drive top-of-funnel growth.
  • Increase engagement, retention, and revenue through data-driven experimentation.
  • Manage a small team of product growth managers, providing strategic direction, mentorship, and coaching.

Qualifications

  • Approximately 10 years of Product Management experience, focusing on growth and monetization at an organizational level.
  • Proven ability to optimize activation, retention, and upsell levers in mobile and web products.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience, with a track record of leading and influencing multiple squads.
  • Experience directly managing small teams of PMs or growth managers.
  • Data fluency, with experience running A/B tests and analyzing funnels for growth opportunities.
  • Ability to make decisions based on rigorous experimentation and quantitative analysis.
  • Strong strategic and tactical balance, with experience building growth strategies and leading successful initiatives at scale.
  • Creative and holistic product thinking, considering the entire product experience.
