Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to join Evidence Action as our Deputy Country Director.

In this critical role, you will be instrumental in driving the execution of our strategies and leading operations in the absence of the Country Director. Your leadership will directly impact multi-state program implementation and quality control.

You will manage and mentor our senior country team, oversee budgeting and financial reporting, and cultivate essential relationships with government and strategic partners.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with strategy execution and lead operations in the Director's absence
Direct multi-state program implementation and quality control

Guide the scaling of new program initiatives

Qualifications

Advanced degree in Public Health or Social Sciences
7+ years in program management
3+ years in senior leadership
Experience with multi-site operations
Experience with donor-funded projects
Strong background in government relations within Nigeria
