Job Description

IT Horizons Group is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Officer for a hybrid role in Gbagada, Lagos. This position is integral to our operations, focusing on the efficient processing of orders, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring seamless coordination across teams and external partners.

You will be responsible for negotiating terms, maintaining strong vendor partnerships, and providing timely updates. Your role will also involve managing vendor onboarding, ensuring fair bidding processes, and overseeing order logistics, all while maintaining accurate records on our accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

Process and place orders for projects
Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors, distributors, and OEMs
Maintain and foster strong vendor relationships
Provide weekly order updates to project teams
Manage vendor onboarding and performance assessment
Ensure fair bidding processes and submit pricing analysis
Follow up on vendor payments
Oversee order pick-up and delivery
Post transactions on accounting software
Handle operational documents
Review and update departmental documentation

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field
3–5 years’ relevant experience, preferably in a tech environment
Strong negotiation, vendor management, and coordination skills
High level of organization, attention to detail, and accountability
