Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Warehouse Manager to spearhead our FMCG warehouse operations. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of warehouse management, from receiving and storage to picking, packing, and dispatch, ensuring maximum efficiency and accuracy.

You will be instrumental in optimizing warehouse layout, implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and maintaining strict adherence to FEFO/FIFO principles for our products. This position demands strong leadership to manage and develop a high-performing warehouse team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and supervise daily warehouse activities.
  • Ensure effective warehouse layout and space utilization.
  • Implement and monitor SOPs for all warehouse processes.
  • Oversee accurate stock records through cycle counts and reconciliations.
  • Coordinate outbound logistics and delivery scheduling.
  • Lead, train, and mentor warehouse staff.
  • Enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Prepare and analyze warehouse performance reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of proven experience in FMCG warehousing.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles.
  • Proficiency in ERP/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, Sage, etc.).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Must reside within Ibadan.
