Job Description

Medetone is a rapidly expanding online pharmacy focused on revolutionizing healthcare through innovative solutions and a strong customer-centric philosophy. We offer a wide array of prescription medications, over-the-counter products, and personalized health services.

We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our Human Resources department, supporting daily tasks to ensure smooth and efficient HR operations. This role is based in our Dubai office, and you will assist with employee administration, recruitment, onboarding, and general HR activities across our London, Amsterdam, New York, and Dubai offices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job vacancies, screening CVs, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communication.
  • Support new hire onboarding by preparing welcome materials, coordinating orientations, and ensuring new employees have necessary resources. Assist with the offboarding process.
  • Collect and verify employee information for payroll processing and assist with benefits administration. Address employee queries regarding payroll and benefits.
  • Act as a first point of contact for employee HR-related inquiries, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and general workplace matters.
  • Help organize and participate in employee engagement activities, team events, and wellbeing programs to foster a positive work culture.
  • Support HR projects, such as policy updates or new system implementations, and contribute ideas for improving HR processes and enhancing employee satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • A degree or diploma in HR, business administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in an HR or administrative role is a plus but not essential.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with precision, ensuring all HR documentation and processes are accurate and compliant.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels.
  • High level of integrity in handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • A positive, proactive approach to work, with a willingness to take initiative and contribute ideas to improve HR processes.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and willing to learn HR software and systems.
