Job Description
OPTIVATIONS is seeking an on-site IT Support Specialist for our West Palm Beach office. This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth operation of our IT systems and ensuring our team and clients have the necessary technological resources to succeed. You will be the primary point of contact for all IT-related matters, handling everything from daily support requests and user management to maintaining our productivity suite environments and office technology.
As a key member of our team, you will manage administrative tasks across various systems, facilitate user onboarding and offboarding, and troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues. You will also play a vital role in configuring and supporting our Microsoft environment, including Intune and Teams, and assist with device management and security policies. This position offers a dynamic work environment where you can contribute significantly to our operational efficiency.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Handle administrative tasks across internal and third-party systems, including password resets and user provisioning.
- Manage user onboarding and offboarding processes, including orientation and access setup.
- Support client onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and connectivity issues (e.g., WiFi, login problems, peripherals).
- Serve as the first point of contact for all IT support requests.
- Escalate complex issues when necessary and ensure their timely resolution.
- Help manage and configure our Microsoft environment, including Intune, Teams, and Outlook.
- Support device management and security policies through Intune.
- Assist with ongoing Microsoft 365 administration and improvements.
- Organize and maintain the server closet.
- Track and manage inventory of tech equipment in the office.
- Assist with hardware setup, maintenance, and replacement as needed.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration (Teams, Outlook, Intune).
- Familiarity with user and permission management across various systems.
- Comfortable troubleshooting common hardware and connectivity issues.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with physical access management (badges, NFC cards, etc.).
- Clear communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Experience with device management and endpoint security (Intune, MDM).
- Familiarity with onboarding/offboarding workflows and documentation.
- Experience managing IT inventory and equipment tracking.
- Experience with multi-accounting e-commerce software (anti-detect browsers).
- Experience migrating across productivity suites (Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 or vice versa).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365) are a plus.
