Job Description

DemandTec is seeking a strategic Product Marketing Manager to spearhead market understanding and adoption of its groundbreaking Commercial Trade Intelligence platform. This pivotal role will define the platform's positioning, craft compelling messaging, and build the essential go-to-market infrastructure to drive commercial success.

You will own the narrative for DemandTec's integrated suites in Revenue Optimization and Trade Intelligence, establishing a new category in the market. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to connect with sophisticated retail and CPG buyers, translating complex capabilities into clear business outcomes and ROI.

This position offers significant autonomy to shape how the market perceives DemandTec, arming the sales team with powerful enablement tools and establishing product marketing as a core commercial function within a rapidly growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the foundation workstream, including demo videos, sales kits, and ROI calculators.
  • Develop platform-level positioning and messaging for Revenue Optimization and Trade Intelligence suites.
  • Create segment-specific value propositions for enterprise and mid-market retail, and CPG audiences.
  • Translate platform capabilities into business outcomes that resonate with retail and CPG leaders.
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality messaging across all buyer-facing channels.
  • Partner with Product leadership on quarterly release planning and GTM strategy.
  • Lead launch packages for new features and modules.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing.
  • Develop and maintain the core sales toolkit, including pitch decks, solution briefs, and competitive battlecards.
  • Partner directly with Sales to understand field feedback and address content gaps.
  • Build and maintain a deep understanding of the retail and CPG technology market.
  • Lead win/loss analysis and translate findings into actionable updates.
  • Develop product narratives and market context for analyst briefings.
  • Provide messaging frameworks and audience insights for demand generation campaigns.
  • Own product and solution page content across DemandTec's digital properties.

Qualifications

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in product marketing with a focus on B2B SaaS or enterprise technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to own positioning and messaging for complex, multi-module products across multiple buyer segments.
  • Proven track record developing sales enablement materials that field teams actively use.
  • Experience leading go-to-market planning and execution for product launches in a quarterly release environment.
  • Strong analytical mindset: comfortable with win/loss data, market research, and competitive analysis.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills: able to distill technical complexity into clear, defensible business value.
  • Ability to operate strategically and execute hands-on across a range of deliverables simultaneously.
  • Experience marketing to enterprise buyers in retail, consumer goods, supply chain, or adjacent industries (preferred).
  • Background supporting analyst relations programs with Gartner, Forrester, IDC, or similar (preferred).
  • Familiarity with enterprise sales motions and complex, multi-stakeholder buying processes (preferred).
  • Experience building a product marketing function or practice area from an early stage (preferred).
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
