Job Description

As the Human Resources and Admin Officer, you will play a key role in supporting our HR team and ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes. You will work closely with the HR team to maintain a positive work environment, foster employee engagement, and contribute to the overall success of our organization. This role requires a blend of HR expertise and administrative efficiency.

Key responsibilities include assisting in the recruitment process, coordinating new hire onboarding, orientation, and training sessions, and maintaining accurate employee records. You will also support employee engagement activities, respond to employee inquiries, and assist with payroll and benefits administration. Providing administrative support to the HR team as needed is also a crucial part of this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings and applicant screening
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, and training sessions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases
  • Support employee engagement activities, training programs, and company events
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits
  • Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed

Qualifications

  • BSc. in Industrial Relations, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5-7 years of relevant HR experience in a fast-paced environment (logistics or transportation industry experience an advantage)
  • member of either CIPM, PHRi is mandatory
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
