Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Assistant Store Keeper to support our inventory management functions at our Lekki Phase 1 restaurant. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient flow of goods and maintaining accurate stock records.

In this capacity, you will assist in receiving, stocking, and issuing inventory items. Your diligence in maintaining an organized stockroom and adhering to procedures will be crucial for the seamless operation of our restaurant's supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in receiving and inspecting incoming inventory items.
  • Organize and maintain stockroom inventory in an orderly manner.
  • Issue supplies and ingredients to kitchen and bar staff based on requisitions.
  • Help conduct regular stock checks and assist in inventory counts.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stockroom.
  • Support the Head Store Keeper in daily inventory tasks.
  • Adhere to all safety and hygiene protocols within the storage area.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a store keeping or related role is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Ability to learn and use inventory systems or manual stock cards.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • A willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
