Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Restaurant Store Keeper to join our team in Lekki Phase 1. This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth operation of our restaurant by ensuring all necessary supplies and ingredients are managed efficiently.

In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the receiving, storage, and distribution of all restaurant inventory. Your attention to detail will be key in preventing stockouts and minimizing waste, directly contributing to the restaurant's profitability and operational success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records for all restaurant supplies and ingredients.
  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods, ensuring quality and quantity match orders.
  • Organize and maintain the stockroom for efficient access and preservation of goods.
  • Prepare and issue stock to various departments (kitchen, bar) as per requisitions.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts to identify discrepancies.
  • Assist in the preparation of inventory reports and forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards in the storage areas.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a store keeper, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
  • Ability to manage inventory using manual stock cards or basic inventory systems.
  • Good understanding of stock control principles and practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
