Job Description
efm Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Officer to join their team in Moorabbin, Australia. This role is integral to ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the company's financial operations within the thriving Australian logistics sector.
In this position, you will be responsible for the precise validation and reconciliation of carrier invoices against contractual agreements. You will manage significant customer portfolios, ensuring all charges are accurate and processed in a timely manner. Key duties include lodging claims with carriers, verifying the completeness and accuracy of all processed invoices, and proactively resolving any discrepancies with internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will possess intermediate to advanced MS Office skills, particularly in Excel, and demonstrate a strong ability to analyze and critically think through complex issues. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are essential, alongside a solid mathematical aptitude. While prior billing experience is advantageous, it is not strictly required.

- Timely and accurate validation and reconciliation of carrier invoices & rates against contracts
- Responsible for major customer portfolios; including accurate and timely charges
- Lodge claims with Carriers
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of invoices received and processed
- Issue resolution with long-term solution
- Pro-active communication and follow up to efficiently resolve all discrepancy matters with all stakeholders, internal and external
- Support of the broader Billing functions as required
Qualifications
- MS Office (Intermediate – Advanced Excel)
