Elyon Global Shipping Limited is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Lagos.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable.
Prepare journal entries and reconcile financial statements.
Support the preparation of financial reports.
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
Assist with audits and tax preparations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (minimum of 2:1).
0 - 3 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance.
Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Good communication and organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Student membership/professional certifications with ICAN, ACCA, or CFI are an added advantage, but not mandatory.
