Job Description

PaidHR is expanding its innovative embedded finance offerings and is actively seeking a driven Business Development Executive specializing in Embedded Finance. This role is crucial for driving the adoption of our fintech products, including Earned Wage Access (EWA) and credit solutions, by focusing on new business acquisition and customer growth.

You will be at the forefront of building new revenue streams by onboarding both new organizations and new employee populations, while simultaneously fostering product adoption and long-term customer value. This position requires a unique blend of sales acumen and customer experience expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, acquire, and onboard new employer accounts and new employee populations (new lives) onto PaidHR’s embedded finance offerings.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of HR, Finance, and business decision-makers beyond existing PaidHR clients.
  • Run discovery sessions and position EWA and credit solutions as strategic workforce benefits.
  • Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to close for fintech offerings.
  • Drive adoption of embedded finance products within existing PaidHR accounts.
  • Identify expansion opportunities and upsell credit-related offerings.
  • Increase product penetration and usage across client organizations.
  • Own revenue targets tied to fintech product growth.
  • Work closely with CX, Product, and Finance teams to ensure smooth execution of credit products.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide clear revenue and pipeline forecasts.
  • Support go-to-market initiatives and campaigns for embedded finance solutions.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years experience in business development, fintech sales, account management, or revenue growth roles.
  • Strong ability to hunt for new business while managing existing accounts.
  • Experience selling financial products such as lending, credit, payroll finance, or fintech solutions preferred.
  • Proven track record of quota attainment and revenue growth.
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong upsell capabilities.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally in a fast-paced startup environment.
