Job Description

ShiftCare, Australia's leading home care software provider, is rapidly expanding its market presence across North America. With a strong foundation built on trust from over 7,000 care providers, we are committed to becoming the premier care management platform throughout the United States and Canada.

We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our established North American team. This fully remote position, based in British Columbia, Canada, will be pivotal in driving new business development by focusing primarily on outbound prospecting.

In this role, you will be responsible for generating qualified meetings for our SMB Account Executive team. You will engage with potential clients primarily in California, while also supporting growth opportunities across Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Colorado in the US, and British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario in Canada. Your efforts will be crucial in building a robust sales pipeline and qualifying leads against our ideal customer profile, with approximately 80% of your time dedicated to outbound prospecting and 20% to inbound lead qualification.

You will primarily target organizations with 5-50 staff, including non-medical Home Care providers, HCBS Waiver providers, IDD and Disability Service providers, Supported Living providers, and Adult Day and Respite providers. Our clients seek modern, user-friendly software for scheduling, EVV, authorizations, and billing, without the complexities of clinical EMR systems.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in an SDR or BDR role.
  • Proven success in outbound SaaS sales.
  • Strong cold calling and prospecting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM system.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely.
  • A coachable mindset and a strong desire to grow your sales career.
  • Experience in Healthtech, HRtech, Edtech, or CRMtech is highly regarded.
