Job Description

Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc. (FMN) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to join the Golden Sugar Company team in Sunti.

This critical role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human capital management, ensuring the organization attracts, develops, and retains a high-caliber workforce. You will play a key part in aligning HR strategies with business objectives to drive growth and performance.

Key responsibilities include managing the end-to-end recruitment and selection process, developing and implementing training programs, and overseeing the performance appraisal system. You will also be tasked with ensuring adherence to HR policies, managing employee relations, and driving effective communication across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Recruitment and Selection processes to ensure highest qualify candidates are sourced and retained.
  • Work closely with HOD to ensure growth and business performance, via effective implementation of HR strategy.
  • Manage Training and Development intervention programmes to close competency gaps.
  • Manage, supervise and implement the performance appraisal system for the company to ensure effective performance management system.
  • Drive effective communication to ensure ownership and buy-in of all change initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to HR Policies and Procedures and carry out periodic reviews.
  • Manage industrial and employee relations issues.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. In Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related discipline.
  • CIPM, SHRM, or HRCI certification.
