Job Description

Brila Media is seeking a skilled and experienced Human Resources Officer to manage and execute a variety of essential HR functions. This role is critical for maintaining a positive, productive, and compliant workplace.

You will be responsible for overseeing recruitment processes from sourcing to onboarding, handling employee relations, and ensuring accurate HR record-keeping. This position also involves supporting performance management, training coordination, and the implementation of HR policies, particularly within a retail pharmacy setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in end-to-end recruitment processes including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Handle employee relations, addressing queries, grievances, and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Maintain HR records, manage attendance and leave.
  • Assist in performance management, training coordination, and staff development initiatives.
  • Support in implementing HR policies tailored to a retail pharmacy setting.
  • Coordinate staff scheduling and workforce planning as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as an HR Officer, HR Assistant, or similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, labor legislation, and recruitment processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Must reside on the island.
