Job Description
Sezzle is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Executive Recruiter to join our rapidly growing team. This is an exceptional opportunity to make a significant impact by leading senior-level talent acquisition efforts, with a strategic focus on the Banking, FinTech, and Technology sectors.
In this fully remote role, you will be instrumental in driving full-cycle executive searches for C-suite positions and board appointments. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, leveraging your expertise to identify, engage, and place top-tier talent across Latin America and global markets. Your success will be measured by your ability to build robust candidate pipelines and cultivate lasting relationships with industry leaders.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle executive searches for C-suite roles (CEO, CFO, CTO, COO, CRO, CISO, etc.) and board of directors appointments.
- Develop and execute customized search strategies using research, market intelligence, and professional networks.
- Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, board committees, and hiring managers on market trends, compensation, and organizational design.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of high-caliber executive and board-level candidates within Banking, FinTech, and Technology.
- Cultivate long-term relationships with passive candidates and industry leaders across Latin America and global markets.
- Conduct rigorous candidate evaluations, including competency-based interviews and leadership assessments.
- Present comprehensive candidate profiles and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Stay current on industry trends and talent movements within Banking, FinTech, and Technology.
- Ensure recruitment activities adhere to internal policies, local regulations, and best practices in diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting within applicant tracking and CRM systems.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in executive recruitment.
- Strong track record of placing C-suite executives and board members.
- Demonstrated expertise recruiting within the Banking, FinTech, and/or Technology industries.
- Proven success managing board-level search engagements.
- Deep understanding of executive compensation structures and equity packages.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills with senior executives and board-level stakeholders.
- Strong research and sourcing capabilities, proficient with executive search tools and LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Ability to work remotely and collaborate across multiple time zones.
- Experience at a retained executive search firm or in-house executive TA function at a major financial institution or technology company (preferred).
- Existing network of senior leaders and board professionals across Latin America, North America, and global markets (preferred).
- Familiarity with corporate governance frameworks and board composition best practices (preferred).
- Experience supporting diversity-focused executive and board searches (preferred).
- Additional language proficiency (e.g., Portuguese) is a plus.
