Job Description

The Blowfish Hotel is offering an exciting internship opportunity for an Assistant IT Support Officer in Lagos.

This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with 0-1 year of experience seeking to gain practical IT support skills in a challenging, dynamic environment.

You will be responsible for providing technical assistance, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and supporting the hotel's IT infrastructure.

The position requires the ability to work under pressure, multitask effectively, and willingness to work extended hours, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
Respond to queries under pressure and effectively multitask.
Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
Walk customers through problem-solving processes.
Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention to the appropriate person.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field is desirable although relevant experience is equally valuable.
Should have 0-1 year relevant experience.
Must not be above the age of 26 years as at the time of applying.
Married applicant as at the time of applying may not be suitable for the role.
Ability to work under pressure and effectively multitask.
Must be willing to work at odd hours if work warrants.
Must be willing to work 6 days weekly including Fridays - Sundays.
Good communication skills.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must be ready to work in a challenging dynamic environment full of prospect.

Benefits & Perks

Salary: N130,000 - N150,000 Monthly.
