Job Description

ProArch is seeking a highly skilled and Quest-certified Tenant-to-Tenant Migration Specialist to spearhead critical Microsoft 365 migration initiatives.

This contract role involves the meticulous design, execution, and support of complex migrations, ensuring secure, efficient, and minimally disruptive transitions for end-users and business operations. You will leverage your deep expertise in Quest migration tools to manage every phase of the process, from initial planning and assessment to post-migration validation.

Your responsibilities will include leading migration delivery for Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams, while developing comprehensive runbooks and cutover plans. You will collaborate closely with project managers and stakeholders, providing clear documentation and resolving migration issues proactively.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and execute Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations, including Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams.
Design migration approaches that minimize business disruption while maintaining security and compliance.
Serve as a subject matter expert in Quest tenant migration tools.
Perform migration planning, assessments, coexistence setup, and post-migration validation.
Develop migration runbooks, schedules, and cutover plans.
Conduct pre-migration readiness checks and post-migration validation.
Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies and resolve migration issues as they arise.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders.
Provide concise technical documentation, status updates, and transition materials.

Qualifications

Active Quest certification (required).
Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations.
Strong experience migrating Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams.
Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 architecture, identity, and coexistence models.
Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor.
Experience in Professional Services or Consulting environments (preferred).
Familiarity with hybrid identity models and phased migration strategies (preferred).
