Ascentech Services Ltd is seeking a seasoned Compensation & Benefits Officer to join their team in Lagos. This pivotal role involves overseeing critical HR functions including payroll administration, employee compensation and benefits management, HR budgeting, and workforce analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage employee compensation and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare monthly payroll and coordinate timely salary payments.
  • Assist with HR budget preparation and cost analysis.
  • Prepare and present HR reports, workforce metrics, and management reports.
  • Support industrial relations activities and maintain positive employee relations.
  • Coordinate recruitment, training, and employee development initiatives.
  • Analyse HR and material-related reports, providing actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with management on people management and HR process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, or another Social Science discipline.
  • 5–7 years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in a Compensation & Benefits role within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processing, compensation, and benefits administration.
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and data presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP or related ERP/HRIS applications.
  • Strong interpersonal, people management, and industrial relations skills.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and professionalism.
