Job Description

Goonite Hygiene Product FZE, a dynamic and growing company in the FMCG manufacturing and distribution space, is looking for a dedicated Logistics Support Officer to join their team.

In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the company's transportation and distribution network. You will manage relationships with transporters, develop and implement key logistics processes, and oversee the timely and accurate delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities

Onboard and manage credible transporters with a focus on cost control.
Develop and implement logistics processes, SOPs, and structures.
Coordinate truck bookings and follow up on transit issues.
Ensure timely truck arrivals, offloading, and accurate deliveries.
Monitor transportation rates and factors affecting rate fluctuations.
Collaborate with Sales Managers to optimize shipping routes.
Develop and implement logistics safety policies and procedures.
Provide excellent support to internal and external stakeholders on shipment-related matters.

Qualifications

HND or B.Sc. in a relevant field.
1–2 years of experience in a similar logistics role.
Experience in the FMCG industry, preferably with diaper or sanitary pad companies, is an advantage.
Excellent reporting, communication, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or related software.
Must reside around Ibeju-Lekki, Eleko, or Akodo.
