Job Description

Addoz Integrated Resources is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Officer to join their client's team within the thriving agro sector.

This role is crucial for managing the end-to-end movement of agricultural products, from sourcing to local and international markets. You will be responsible for coordinating logistics, export documentation, and liaising with various stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end-to-end supply chain and logistics operations
  • Manage movement of agricultural products from suppliers to warehouses, customers, and export destinations
  • Coordinate export documentation, shipping schedules, and logistics arrangements
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs agents, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with export regulations and international trade procedures
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock movement for timely deliveries
  • Track shipments and provide delivery/export status updates
  • Support procurement and supplier management activities
  • Prepare and maintain accurate supply chain, logistics, and export records
  • Identify and resolve supply chain and logistics challenges
  • Monitor transportation costs and support cost-effective logistics planning
  • Ensure proper handling, packaging, and documentation of agro products for export

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree/HND in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Transport Management, or related field
  • Minimum of 3–5 years' relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement, preferably in the agro sector
  • Strong understanding of export operations and international trade procedures
  • Practical knowledge of export documentation, shipping, customs procedures, and freight forwarding
  • Experience coordinating export of agricultural products is a strong advantage
  • Good knowledge of inventory management, procurement, and logistics operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant supply chain/logistics software
  • Strong negotiation, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
