Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Procurement Officer to join our administrative team. This role is essential for supporting our procurement operations, ensuring the efficient acquisition of goods and services.

In this position, you will play a key part in sourcing suppliers, managing purchase orders, and maintaining accurate procurement records. Your contributions will directly impact the timely delivery of necessary resources in alignment with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments on purchasing needs.
  • Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Assist in supplier performance evaluation and maintain supplier databases.
  • Support the procurement team in cost analysis and budgeting activities.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and procurement regulations.
  • Handle administrative duties related to procurement operations.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain (preferred).
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
