Job Description
We are seeking a talented Social Media Specialist to join a fast-growing personal brand operating at the exciting intersection of outdoor adventure and cooking. This fully remote role is crucial for managing and expanding our social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, with a strategic focus on cultivating a high-quality U.S. audience.
In this position, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive content strategies, creating compelling content concepts, and ensuring consistent, optimized publishing. You will also play a key role in community engagement, analyzing performance metrics, and collaborating closely with the founder to translate their unique personality and vision into high-performing content that resonates deeply with American male audiences.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage monthly and bi-monthly content calendars for Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Conceptualize viral, personality-driven, and story-based content ideas.
- Research current trends, sounds, formats, and competitor strategies for U.S. market growth.
- Analyze audience demographics to refine strategies for a predominantly American male audience.
- Collaborate with the founder on script outlines, hooks, and creative direction for short-form video.
- Edit content or coordinate editing with internal/external partners.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, personality, and audience expectations.
- Publish content consistently across platforms, optimizing for reach and engagement.
- Manage captions, hashtags, scheduling, and platform best practices.
- Engage with followers through comments, DMs, and story interactions.
- Monitor audience sentiment and escalate meaningful feedback.
- Track and review performance metrics weekly and monthly, identifying drivers of qualified U.S. follower growth.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on performance data.
- Meet regularly with the founder to align on creative direction and upcoming content.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the brand’s niche in outdoor adventure and food.
Qualifications
- 2–4+ years of experience managing social media for personal brands, creators, or lifestyle/e-commerce brands.
- Proven experience growing Instagram and Facebook audiences within U.S. markets.
- Demonstrated track record managing or producing viral-leaning content in cooking, outdoor, lifestyle, or entertainment niches.
- Strong capabilities in content strategy, planning, and creative ideation.
- Proficiency with video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar.
- Ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into actionable strategy.
- Highly organized, consistent, and detail-oriented.
- Creative, proactive, and comfortable taking full ownership of social output.
- Strong cultural understanding of U.S. social media trends, humor, and audience behavior.
