Job Description
The Startup Place NG is hiring a Store Manager for our Ebute Metta, Lagos location. This is a key role responsible for the daily management of store operations, ensuring efficient accounting, accurate inventory reporting, and driving sales targets. You will also oversee staff and customer service, while managing the company’s social media platforms to support sales growth.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of retail operations, excellent accounting skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. If you are organized, results-oriented, and reside in or around Ebute Metta, we encourage you to apply.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Daily management of store operations
- Proper cash handling and accurate accounting
- Stock control and inventory reporting
- Staff supervision and customer service
- Driving sales and meeting monthly targets
- Safeguarding store assets
- Managing the company’s social media platforms by posting products, responding to customer enquiries, and supporting sales growth, strictly under management’s guidelines and approval
- Any other duties assigned by management
Qualifications
- Experience in retail management
- Proficiency in accounting and record keeping
- Ability to manage inventory and stock
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience in staff supervision
- Ability to drive sales and meet targets
- Experience managing social media for business
- Must reside in or very close to Ebute Metta
Benefits & Perks
- Monthly Salary: ₦150,000
- ₦10,000 monthly performance bonus for accurate accounting, proper record keeping, and zero financial discrepancies
- ₦10,000 sales target bonus for achieving monthly sales between ₦3,000,000 – ₦5,000,000
- Bonuses are performance-based and subject to management review
