Their Content Marketing Platform (CMP) is designed to empower marketing and creative teams by streamlining the entire content lifecycle. This includes briefing, workflow management, project oversight, templated creative production, review and approval processes, and large-scale asset distribution.
The platform is enhanced with AI capabilities and is continuously evolving to meet the dynamic needs of global brands. Storyteq focuses on removing bottlenecks and repetitive tasks, allowing teams to concentrate on creativity, storytelling, and impactful campaigns. Their mission is to ensure creativity is never limited by process, making campaign rollouts effortless and efficient.
Job Description
Storyteq is seeking a dedicated Product Owner to join their dynamic team, focusing on their leading enterprise SaaS product, the Content Marketing Platform (CMP). This role is pivotal in shaping the future of a Gartner-recognized platform used by some of the world's largest brands.
As a Product Owner, you will be embedded within a software engineering squad, taking full ownership of a defined area of the CMP. Your primary responsibility will be to understand customer needs, define desired outcomes, and guide the development of the next generation of features. This is a proactive, customer-facing role where you will drive product direction based on evidence and data.
You will lead all squad ceremonies, manage the product backlog with a focus on outcome-driven planning, and own the instrumentation requirements for every feature. Direct customer relationships are key, enabling you to conduct evidence-based discovery and problem framing. Your ability to make decisive calls, supported by data, will be crucial.
This position offers the opportunity to significantly impact how global enterprises manage their content operations. If you are a results-oriented individual with a passion for product development and a strong understanding of Agile principles, we encourage you to apply.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Own a clearly defined area of the CMP product, with full accountability for the quality and direction of the backlog and the outcomes delivered.
- Define clear outcome hypotheses and measurement mechanisms before committing to any initiative.
- Maintain a well-prioritized, clearly articulated backlog where user stories define the problem and desired outcome, not the solution.
- Own instrumentation requirements for every feature shipped, ensuring acceptance criteria include tracking and success measurement.
- Lead all squad ceremonies: stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Own direct relationships with customers within your product area.
- Participate in structured customer conversations as part of the Product Trio (Product Owner, UX Designer, and Engineer).
- Bring proposals grounded in customer insight and data, derived from direct customer discovery sessions.
- Engage with the underlying problem, not just surface requests, probing for root causes.
- Ensure every initiative proceeds with a defined outcome hypothesis and track whether outcomes are reached after delivery.
- Make decisive calls when engineering, UX, and stakeholders have competing views, documenting the rationale.
- Utilize AI tools to accelerate research, synthesis, documentation, and analysis.
- Own and manage roadmap candidates for your product area, contributing well-evidenced candidates to quarterly planning cycles.
- Receive and evaluate inbound requests from Customer Success and commercial teams, assessing them against the evidence bar.
- Keep Customer Success and Product Marketing informed of progress, upcoming releases, and decisions.
- Own the handoff to Technical Writing ahead of every release, ensuring documentation is ready when features ship.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in a Product Owner or Product Management role within an Agile SaaS environment, with hands-on customer discovery, end-to-end backlog ownership, and measurable outcomes.
- Strong working knowledge of Scrum, with the ability to lead and keep ceremonies purposeful.
- Ability to write clear, outcome-focused user stories and acceptance criteria that include measurement requirements.
- Analytical thinking and comfort with data; able to define success metrics, interpret usage data, and draw conclusions.
- Experience managing inbound requests from non-technical stakeholders, with the confidence to push back with evidence.
- Experience working in or alongside engineering teams, with a clear understanding of role responsibilities.
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Background in marketing technology, content workflows, campaign management platforms, or Digital Asset Management is advantageous.
- Comfortable using AI tools for research, synthesis, documentation, and analysis.
Benefits & Perks
- 25 days’ holiday + bank holidays
- Annual Wellbeing Day
- Pension Scheme
- Corporate Medical Cash Plan
- Access to dozens of daily deals and discounts
- Employee Assistance Programme
