Job Description

INTX is a dynamic leader in the (Re)insurance technology sector, offering a modern Operating System designed to revolutionize specialty P&C reinsurance operations. We are seeking a highly skilled Reinsurance Solution Architect to join our growing team and drive the functional design and implementation of our cutting-edge platform.

In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary domain expert, guiding clients through the entire lifecycle from initial solution design to successful go-live. You will translate complex reinsurance programs, including treaty and facultative structures, into structured requirements and actionable specifications for our delivery teams. Your expertise will be essential in identifying and resolving gaps between client needs and platform capabilities, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with prospects and clients as the reinsurance domain expert during solution design, discovery, and scoping.
  • Map client reinsurance programs (treaty, facultative, assumed, ceded) to INTX platform capabilities and define the functional solution.
  • Identify gaps between client requirements and platform capabilities early, and drive resolution through product, engineering, or configurable workarounds.
  • Own the functional specifications and implementation tickets that give the delivery team a clear, unambiguous build plan.
  • Stay engaged as the reinsurance authority throughout delivery, supporting the program manager and keeping the client aligned on reinsurance workstreams.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for all reinsurance-related questions from the client and internal team.
  • Participate in UAT and validation to confirm reinsurance functionality is built to spec.
  • Run multiple concurrent engagements without losing quality or client confidence.
  • Build and maintain reinsurance scoping frameworks, requirements templates, and implementation playbooks.
  • Act as the internal SME for product, engineering, and delivery teams on reinsurance concepts and workflows.
  • Contribute insights that shape platform direction and roadmap decisions based on real client needs.
  • Raise the reinsurance fluency of the broader team over time.

Qualifications

  • 2-3+ years of hands-on reinsurance experience (cedant, reinsurer, or broker side).
  • Strong working knowledge of treaty and facultative structures, cession workflows, recoverables, and Schedule F.
  • Experience gathering client requirements or scoping system implementations.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into structured, actionable specifications.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Background in reinsurance operations, underwriting support, or actuarial exposure (preferred).
  • Experience with insurance or reinsurance software platforms (preferred).
  • Familiarity with P&C markets across carriers and reinsurers (preferred).
  • Experience working alongside technical or engineering teams (preferred).
  • Microsoft Azure familiarity (preferred).
  • Certifications: CBAP, PMP, CSM (preferred).
