Job Description

In this hands-on leadership role, you will be instrumental in defining and executing the comprehensive testing strategy. You will collaborate closely with client stakeholders, program teams, and technology vendors to ensure all solutions are rigorously validated and prepared for deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the Test Strategy, approach, and governance framework.
  • Plan and manage all testing phases, including SIT, UAT, End-to-End Testing, Payroll Parallel Runs, and Go-Live Readiness.
  • Coordinate business users, suppliers, technical teams, and operational stakeholders throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Manage defects, issues, risks, and escalation processes effectively.
  • Ensure adequate testing coverage across business processes, payroll requirements, integrations, reporting, and compliance obligations.
  • Support cutover planning, dress rehearsals, and deployment readiness activities.
  • Provide clear reporting and actionable recommendations to program governance bodies.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading testing activities within large-scale business transformation or ERP programmes.
  • Experience working with public sector organisations, particularly Local Government, or within consultancy environments supporting public sector clients.
  • Strong understanding of test strategy, planning, governance, and delivery.
  • Experience managing SIT, UAT, and end-to-end business testing.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience managing defects, risks, and testing dependencies.
